02 / 1:1 SUPPORT
1:1 support. Case studies.
We're on the next stage of our case studies now. After four years of working within the PMDD community, the question we keep coming back to is self-trust: what helps us begin to trust ourselves again?
This next stage is about building that hypothesis, not claiming we have proved it. We work one-to-one over three months, using tracking and reflection to explore your experience of PMDD or PME and what safety signals mean for you.
Build trust in your system again. Begin with what you notice
1:1 support is education and reflective practice. It is not therapy, diagnosis, medical treatment or crisis support, and it works alongside the care you already have.
03 / RESEARCH AND EXPERIENCE
Why self-trust?
Four years within the PMDD community inform the questions we ask. Lived experience matters, but it is not proof of a treatment outcome.
Published research explores interoception: how we sense and interpret signals inside the body. A 2025 PMDD review proposes a sensory framework; it does not test this programme.
A qualitative study of 27 women with PMDD across nine countries describes medical gaslighting, delayed diagnosis and self-advocacy. These accounts help explain why being taken seriously matters. They do not show that self-trust causes or cures PMDD.
04 / BEING HEARD
When someone speaks up.
When someone who has been abused speaks up, negative reactions to their disclosure are linked with worse mental health. Research has not yet tested whether being believed rebuilds self-trust.
This is a finding about responses to interpersonal violence, not a PMDD treatment study. It gives us a reason to listen carefully, not a promise about what 1:1 support will achieve.
We distinguish published evidence, community experience and our own hypotheses. Your experience is not a marketing result.
