feminine rhythm
Where the work begins.
PMDD and PME are where our experience runs deepest. Women with PMDD have described how having their symptoms dismissed left them feeling unheard, less willing to seek help and less trusting of healthcare. Menstrual Wellbeing can be completely debilitating for your relationships, body image, career and life in general. It can be extremely scary to know how to cope.
The Method we use helps you pause, understand what is happening and consider what you need. We understand that financial trauma can make getting a therapist scary. We understand that desperation can make leaving unhealthy relationships difficult. Our courses are here to educate you to make informed decisions for yourself.

01 / MEDITATION & YOUR RHYTHM
The practice is not about finding perfection. It's about seeing the real you.
Questioning Perceptions. Challenging Belief and Social Structures. Asking the painful questions. Dealing with the Shame and Pain.
Listen! We have all done things that make us cringe. That fill us with shame, humiliation and regret. These parts of us do not heal in isolation or darkness. In fact, dare I say they do not need healing. They just need a loving witness. By laughing at the shameful desperation of loving a man who never loved you, or the food behaviours you hid in the dark, or your bank account that is in minus whilst you pretend you are rich. The mask you put on in the late luteal phase when all you want to do is cry in the middle of the supermarket and eat cookies but you can't because you feel fat. Oh maybe that's just me! Or shouting at your children because you are tired, overwhelmed and then feel like a useless mother because the children are feral and everyone is judging you for not having control over them. None of this is wrong.
For centuries women have had to shrink. Meditation is about slowing down and beginning to be honest - with the good, the bad and the ugly.
It is about developing a REAL relationship with yourself. NO MORE SHRINKING! No More Hiding Yourself

03 / BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Not another routine to perform perfectly.
SUPPORT IN DIFFICULT MOMENTS
If things ever feel too heavy, or you feel at risk of harming yourself, please reach out straight away. In the UK, call emergency services on 999, or contact the Samaritans free, day or night, on 116 123 (UK and Ireland). Outside the UK, findahelpline.com lists free, confidential helplines in many countries. Reaching for urgent support is part of care, never a failure.
A practice you can return to
The aim isn't to give you another routine that you have to perform perfectly. It is to help you develop a practice you can return to.
Calm is not the pass mark
Meditation is not about emptying your mind or becoming calm all of the time. It is a practice of learning to witness.
Alongside your care
This work supports and complements medical care. It is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment or crisis support.
