COMMUNITY

You do not have to practise alone.

We practise together, reflect on what we are learning and hear how other women live with their cycles. Share what you choose. Listening is participation too.

Friendly Hugging Women

01 / WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION

What happens in a session.

01

Practise together

Biweekly live practice.

Live practice, reflection and connection across the Menstrual Wellness course library.

02

Reflect

On what your cycle is teaching you.

Some experiences only change when they are spoken, witnessed and understood with other people.

03

Learn from others

From other women's experience - and from the ways your rhythm is different from theirs.

Looking back at the moments of shame, rejection or those PMDD moments of rage - these are not easy to look at. This is why we have a community.

04

Your choice

There is no pressure to disclose.

We ask everyone to keep what is shared in the room confidential, but we cannot guarantee confidentiality between members.

05

Take your time

No countdown, no deadline, no fear-based push.

If this is right for you, you will know, and you can take your time knowing it.

02 / WHY COMMUNITY

You really are not alone.

We know you may feel lonely; we have too.

PMDD and cyclical distress can be isolating. They can create shame, strain relationships and make it hard to trust your own account of what is happening. Some experiences only change when they are spoken, witnessed and understood with other people.

Retrieving hidden parts of ourselves, looking back at the moments of shame, rejection or those PMDD moments of rage - these are not easy to look at. This is why we have a community: to bring these things up, talk about our embarrassing moments, and laugh together as we begin to see this is common humanity.

03 / BOUNDARIES

Boundaries.

Community is shared learning and peer connection. It is not therapy, clinical treatment or crisis support, and it never replaces care you already have in place. We ask everyone to keep what is shared in the room confidential, but we cannot guarantee confidentiality between members.

If things feel too much right now, please don't carry it alone - reach out to your doctor, or a crisis line where you are.
